JOVI Modelling Tools are ergonomic plastic modelling implements designed for use with JOVI Air Dry Clay, JOVI Plastilina, polymer clay, ceramic clay, and any soft modelling paste. Each tool is a single-piece moulded plastic body — lightweight, robust, dishwasher-safe, smooth-edged, and sized for a primary-school grip. The blue-and-yellow JOVI colourway is the same kit you'll find in Spanish art classrooms across Europe.
The tips are shaped for the four core sculpting actions: scoring (sharp line into wet clay), smoothing (flattening seams and joins), scooping (hollowing out forms or removing material), and texture-pressing (impressing pattern). Adults use them as starter tools before graduating to wooden or stainless-steel sculpting kits; primary-school art teachers use them as the safe entry point for first-time clay modellers because there are no sharp edges and no metal parts.

The 3-Piece Set is the starter kit. Three differently-shaped tools cover the essentials: one pointed end for scoring lines and detail, one flat-edged spatula for smoothing seams, and one rounded scoop for hollowing forms. No — every tip is smooth-edged, which is why these are the standard kit for primary-school art classes. Safe to use from age 7 without adult supervision; age 3+ with supervision.
Plastic tools are lighter, do not absorb moisture, do not splinter, and rinse clean. Wooden tools have a more "professional" feel but require care. For school and home use we recommend the plastic JOVI set.
